Embroidery Spotlight

It's that time of year when small projects are a must! Vacations, baseball games, (really long) graduation ceremonies... all of these activities just beg for a portable project!

Start your project by getting organized...

Here's a fun gadget! The string thing is a simple tin that helps keep your thread in line by routing it through a perfectly sized hole in its top. It comes with a magnetic top to place your needles or scissors on for safe-keeping, and is designed with places to write the brand, color, and size of the thread you are using. It keeps your thread tidy, clean, and contained. The string thing comes in three different sizes. Perfect!

Now for the project...

Bonnie Sullivan has come up with some spectacular designs. This one called Itty Bitty Button Pictures is perfect for a "take along" project!

The Pine Needle has many samples of Bonnie's work in the store. Come by for a dose of inspiration and browse through her beautiful designs... You can find out more about Bonnie by clicking here...

Next up is the queen of embrodiery and good friend to The Pine Needle... Kathy Schmitz! Just in case you didn't know... Bonnie and Kathy are sisters! The Pine Needle is blessed to have such wonderful talent at the store.

Kathy's latest design is called, M is for Monogram. This little booklet has 10 monogram surrounds and 1 alphabet. These surrounds can be embroidered on tea towels, pillowcases or anywhere you need to add a little something.

Choosing a project is so much fun, the Pine Cones are looking forward to helping you with your next project! See you soon...
