Mark Your Calendar for April Events at The Pine Needle April 2009 Join the Spring Fun at The Pine Needle Spring has arrived at The Pine Needle and we're celebrating with 3 fun events! Mark your calendar: A Quilter's Easter Egg Hunt: Saturday, April 11, 11-5 p.m. Quilts for Kids Sewing Day: Saturday, April 18, all day Spring Cleaning Event: Saturday, April 19, 12-5 p.m. Come enjoy the fun! The Pine Needle Easter Egg Hunt is on! Saturday, April 11 11-5 p.m. We think grown-ups love Easter Egg hunts too! So we've invited that frisky little Easter Bunny to visit The Pine Needle. He's agreed to hop on over to hide some very exciting eggs for you too. Come look for colorful eggs filled with great surprises -- from candy to fabric to prizes to discounts. Have fun being a kid again searching for wonderful treasures! Join us from 11-5pm. The egg hunt will go on all day. We don't want anyone to miss out on the fun! Quilts for Kids Open Sewing Day at The Pine Needle Saturday, April 18 10:00-5:00 p.m. Please join us as we make 'Quilts for Kids,' for the charitable organization of the same name. Join the fun and feel the love as you give back to our community. Bring your stash, or use one of the free kits. Lynn Anderson and Kathy Wheatly will be at The Pine Needle to inspire us and help us learn what is needed. We'll supply coffee and cookies - you provide the sewing and love. As a Sewing Angel, you will be a Pinecone for the day and will receive an employee discount of 25% on all purchases. Join us, Saturday, April 18! Quilts for Kids Our Spring Cleaning Sales Event! Our 3rd year and back by popular demand! Sunday, April 19 Noon - 5 p.m. Our customers bring in quilting and sewing goodies to sell from their own stashes . You may find the perfect piece for your stash, a great pattern, notions, and more. Last year we even had two sewing machine for sale. We also add our own bargains - fun stuff like quilts, display items, samples, kits and floor merchandise all at a super savings! The tables have been reserved. You'll have fun wheeling and dealing with fellow quilters! Trust us, you'll have a blast!
