Between catalogs we sometimes create quilts and kits that we feature in our store. The TPN Block Party Delilah is one of our mid summer kits we have available.
Janet, who designed this quilt, used some of the fabrics in the Delilah collection to create this delightful quilt in pinks, blues, and black. We have a few kits left of this charming, fun quilt.

We've restocked our shelves with the marvelous Woolies flannel from Maywood Studios. Our beautiful Northern Comfort flannel quilt kits are available again this year.

Did you know...
Sewing borders

To find the correct length for a border and to square up a quilt, measure through the center length of you quilt top. Use this measurement for the cut length of your borders. To apply the border - pin the center of the border to the center of the border edge, pin the ends and stitch the border to the quilt top edge. Continue measuring through the center of the quilt top as you stitch on each border.

Happy Quilting

Did you know....

Did you know...one of the origins of quilting attributes the development of what appears to be quilted clothing used to protect soldiers from the chafing caused by heavy armor and to provide warmth during the Crusades.

Another theory suggest that quilting may have begun as far back as the times of ancient Egypt based on Egyptian sculptures showing figures which appear to be wearing quilted clothes.
